American Artist Turns Reclaimed Materials Into Breathtaking Sculptures

What do you notice when you look at a fork that hasn’t been used, a screw, a piece of an automobile, and other discarded items? Brian Mock is a sculptor and a metal revolutionist who is bringing discarded materials back to life in the form of amazing sculpture art. Most of us see something that belongs in a trash, but Mock sees something that can be brought back to life.

At a young age, this exceptionally gifted American artist from the town of Aloha, Oregon, has been experimenting with art through the mediums of drawing, painting, and woodcarving. In the 1990s, he developed a creative enthusiasm for upcycling, which he continues to pursue today. After teaching himself how to weld, he gained incredible technical skills that, when combined with imagination and experience, allow him to transform discarded trash into the most beautiful sculptures of animals, people, robots, cars, and other figurative and custom objects that can be both decorative and functional. These sculptures can be both decorative and functional. To give us a better sense of the monumental proportions of his one-of-a-kind works of art, the artist would frequently include either himself or his dog in the photographs.

If we tell you that Brian Mock takes the practice of reusing old or discarded creative materials to an entirely new level, you had better trust us.

“My sculptures are built totally from reclaimed objects and reused materials (nearly entirely metal, although occasionally I’ll add bits of plastic for color).” “My sculptures are made entirely from reclaimed goods and repurposed materials.” I appreciate that people interact with them, and that they have pleasure searching for things that they can recognize in them. It began as a pastime, but as I became more skilled at sculpting, I decided to make it my full-time occupation,” the artist, whose unique sculptures are displayed in galleries all across the country, said.
