Abandoned Château Robert Hansen

Château Robert Hansen is a decommissioned château from the late 1800s. The castle is often defaced due to its location on a busy road and in front of the Mediterranean Sea. The facade is spectacular from a photography standpoint, but the interior is entirely collapsed.

Château Robert Hansen was built in the nineteenth century and spans more than 7 hectares. The 13-hectare Robert Hansen Robert Park was purchased by Prince Mohamed ben Fahd Al-Saud, son of the late King Fahd and nephew of the King of Saudi Arabia, in 2000. Nonetheless, because of its biological richness and natural or cultural treasures, this enormous geographical area was designated as a protected land reserve. As a result, no construction activity was permitted in the immediate vicinity. A fire broke out within Château Robert Hansen in July 2017, and it has since been abandoned.
