The once-glorious Dunnington Mansion, also known as Poplar Hill, is in a deplorable shape and is currently languishing in the middle of a golf course, of all places, not far from Farmville, Virginia. The property is guarded around the clock, yet renowned urbex photographer Bryan Sansivero was given access to capture its fading splendor. The huge red-brick manor is located south of Farmville, amid the exclusive Manor Resort Golf Club, on a piece of unruly land. The boundary between the golf course and the enigmatic abandoned estate is marked by a rusty, elegant wrought-iron gate that is held up by two decaying posts.
