HUGE Abandoned Fairytale Castle with 365 Rooms

One of the most stunning castles in the world can be found perched on a rocky outcrop above a sleepy little town. The opulent castle was constructed around 1605 and features a significant number of rooms. To be precise, one for each and every day of the year. That’s right, 365 rooms, each with its own distinctive design and name, including the well-known peacock room, which features every hue imaginable from the floor to the ceiling. After being sold by the founding family, the building continued to be used as a hotel for a significant amount of time until its closure in the 1990s.

Not only that, but there is also a defunct hotel on the land that was started but never finished because of construction delays. To this day, I still don’t have a good explanation for how such a magnificent structure could just be abandoned and allowed to deteriorate. It’s possible that this majestic castle may be restored to its former glory someday.
