Blake Shelton Almost Quit The Voice Before Season 23

The conclusion of an era has been reached with Blake Shelton’s departure from “The Voice.” The country vocalist and coach on “The Voice” has been a part of the show ever since its inception in 2011, when it was first shown on NBC.

Even though Shelton was already a well-known singer when he started working as a coach on the NBC show, there is little question that his appearance on the show garnered him new admirers, as many viewers saw a different side of him.

As a coach during the first season, he participated in the competition alongside CeeLo Green, Adam Levine, and Christina Aguilera. The time that Shelton has spent on the show has been fruitful for him in many ways, and this includes winning.

According to NBC, Shelton has won nine times on “The Voice.” If he continues to do well in this, his final season, he may become the first person in the show’s history to win ten times (and earn all of the bragging rights that come along with that)!

Shelton’s great time on the NBC show will eventually come to an end, as all good things must. In October, Shelton revealed that he will no longer be appearing on the show.

In a lengthy statement on Instagram, he explained, “I’ve been considering this for a while, and I’ve decided that it’s time for me to move away from ‘The Voice’ after Season 23.” “I’ve been debating this for a while, and I’ve decided that it’s time for me to move away from ‘The Voice’ after

“My life has been improved in every aspect by participating in this program, and as a result, it will always feel to me like I am at home here.”

The past 12 years have been nothing short of an adventure.

Yet, his departure had been anticipated for a considerable amount of time.

It may be surprising when Blake Shelton leaves “The Voice,” but the fact is that his time on the program was almost up even before he officially exited the competition.

During an appearance on “Today,” Shelton and his other cast members discussed a variety of issues, one of which was Shelton’s impending exit from the program. The musician known for “God’s Country” disclosed to Carson Daly that a few years ago he gave serious consideration to leaving his position as a coach.

Shelton stated that “I think I was about to call it quits just as COVID hit,” and he confirmed that this was the case. “And after that, because of COVID, I didn’t want to leave the program and put everyone in a difficult situation. This show completely redirected the course of my life, and I won’t leave until everything gets back to normal.

Shelton revealed how much it meant to him to be a part of something special, despite the fact that he ultimately made the decision to quit the program.

He went on to say that because of the show, he had the opportunity to meet the woman who would become his wife. “Everything up to this point has been incredible, but the moment has arrived. There isn’t even time to ponder about what will happen after this… It wouldn’t hurt to have a little bit of nothing.

Gwen Stefani, Shelton’s wife, discussed his decision to leave in an emotional interview with Entertainment Tonight. She was in tears throughout the conversation.

She provided an explanation by saying, “I can’t get the words out of my mouth because it stinks.” We are in agreement with her!
