The residence has drawn accolades from historians for bearing a strong similarity to the 17th-century Palace of Versaille, the residence of King Louis XIV of France.A London auction by Allsop and Carter Jonas is scheduled on May 13th, with a guide price of just £750,000, or around the price of an apartment in the city.In 2011 it was bought for £1.45 million by a company based in the British Virgin Islands called Acer Properties Limited.

Designed by renowned Victorian architect William E. Nesfield, it is a singular example of a calendar home with 365 windows, 122 rooms, and 12 entrances.With a window for each day of the year and an entrance for each month, we can only hope that cleaning won’t take a complete year.The historic pad in Abergele, Conwy, North Wales, was originally intended to be converted into a hotel, despite being hailed as one of the most beautiful houses in the country.
