Abandoned Estate Dubbed “Welsh Versailles” is Available For £750k

An abandoned estate with more than 200 rooms and the nickname “Welsh Versailles” is currently available for purchase for the price of £750,000.

The estate known as Kinmel Hall, which is 173 years old and is located in Abergele, Conwy, North Wales, had been “left to rot” prior to being put up for sale a week ago.

The 500-foot-long estate was put up for sale at an extravagant price of £15 million back when the real estate market was booming more than ten years ago.

The Friends of Kinmel Hall advocacy organization has weighed in on the battle to save the Grade I-listed palace by taking the initiative to do so.

The house, which is surrounded by 18 acres of walled gardens and was often frequented by Queen Victoria, was just recently put up for sale by the real estate company Allsop.

The castle with 200 rooms.

Despite the fact that it is in a condition of ruin, the mansion has many of its original components. Among these are the enormous Edwardian halls and the large original oak staircases.

The entire room is adorned with stunning, vintage cornice, and the ceilings are rather high.

Wood paneling from the original construction can be found on the walls of many of the rooms.

The expansive grounds feature a large fountain made of stone, acres of trees, and huge lion statues made of stone.

In 2011, the structure, which dates back to the 1870s, was acquired for the price of £1.45 million with the goal of transforming it into a hotel.
